Basically, glass scratches can be divided into different categories:
Angel hair (very common)

deep scratches (common)
Scratches in the glass surface, most often caused by sharp objects, are visible even in diffuse lighting conditions and feel like an edge in the glass when you pass your finger over it, as you can reach depths of up to 100 μm.
Abrasions (rare)
Mostly with sharp objects caused very wide scratches in the glass surface, which appear opaque and milky. Abrasions often already form chips from broken glass and can be easily felt with fingernails.
